Touristram - A family business with a story
Touristram is more than just a transport company; it is a family run business with a rich history of hospitality, memorable experiences and innovation for over 35 years. Founded in 1990 by Marc and later joined by Mee Ran, Touristram has grown into a trusted name in tourist transport and event mobility in Antwerp. Today, their son Benjamin is also actively involved, working alongside a dedicated team of passionate employees.
We proudly consider ourselves a true family business where everyone plays a role, from our professional drivers to the behind-the-scenes team. What drives us is not just a love for mobility, but above all our passengers and our people. Alongside the Mee Ran family, Marc and Benjamin, our skilled drivers and employees ensure that every journey runs smoothly.
The family also runs ‘Het Klokske’, which is not only a perfect place to enjoy a meal, but also the information point for all our tours and vehicles. Guests can ask about the different options and take advantage of regular promotions, often combining rides with a lunch or dinner at Het Klokske. Did you know that the boarding point for our tours is on the Groenplaats, right in front of Het Klokske?
We want every passenger to feel the warmth and personal touch of our service, turning each Touristram ride into more than just a trip. It is a memorable way to discover Antwerp, combining hospitality, culture and unique experiences.
From Lier to Antwerp
Our first trip departed from Lier in 1990. Since then, we have built more than 35 vehicles in our own workshop, all easily recognizable as the classic Touristram cars. Over the years, they have been seen in many Belgian cities, including Lier, Mechelen, Turnhout, Hasselt, Brussels, Antwerp, Tongeren, Liège and Spa.
But our vehicles have also travelled beyond these cities, depending on availability and charging times. You could encounter them anywhere in Belgium and even in the southern Netherlands, such as Maastricht. Along the way, they have been part of countless occasions, from open days and promotions to weddings and other special events.

Today: A strong presence in Antwerp
Today, our focus is entirely on Antwerp, where we operate eight vehicles, five of which are fully electric.
